Church of St Andrew, Greensted-jixta-Ongar. The oldest wooden church in the world and the oldest wooden building standing in Europe. The nave of this Saxon church is built of logs.
St John the Baptist Church, Little Maplestead often known as the Round Church because it has a circular Nave. It was built by the Knights Hospitaller c1340.
